Terrance D. Daye
Christian Music Ministries

Terrance D. Daye has over 24 years experience as an accomplished pianist, organist, songwriter and choral director. Skilled in music composition, arrangement, and computer music technology, he is called, anointed and appointed by God as a praise and worship musician for this time.

Terrance has worked with numerous soloists, church and secular choirs, including the Queens Symphony Orchestra's Youth Choir. He has played for numerous legislative leaders, at numerous political events, and at the 1999 televised NAACP National Convention. Terrance has also performed at numerous colleges, universities, conventions, and concert halls including Carnegie Hall and the Westbury Music Fair. He has played with many well-known recording artists such as Babbie Mason, Donnie McClurkin, V. Michael McKay, Rev. Jackie McCullough, Hezekiah Walker, Yolanda Adams, Steve Green, and Michael Brooks (Commission).

Terrance is a New York State certified music teacher currently teaching in Long Island. He has taught all grade levels and has a special gift to inspire young people. In addition to numerous letters of commendation, awards and recognitions, Terrance received the Who’s Who Among Teacher’s Award in 2003-2004 and 2004–2005. He has also taught at the New York State Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. Terrance also currently serves as the Assistant Minister of Music at St. Albans Congregational Church in St. Albans, New York. He recently celebrated ten years with this far reaching ministry under the direction of Rev. Henry T. Simmons, including mission choir training and performance in Jamaica, West Indies.

Christian Music Ministries Inc. was started by Terrance in 1990 as a ministry providing music instruction, studio sessions and equipment, and music consultation for various churches, pastors, schools, musicians, and singers. Terrance is in the process of documenting lessons learned as a result of his extensive experience in music ministry, and has finally produced and debuted his first, long awaited praise and worship CD "We Need Your Presence”.

Terrance's vision is to open the Christian Conservatory of Music; a music school focused specifically on training and preparation for Christian music ministry. His prayer is for God to be glorified in his life and to be an example and inspiration to others. Terrance is an ordained Elder in the United Fellowship of Churches International and strives to live by the word of God. Terrance lives in New York with his wife and four children.
